This place totally lives up to the hype. The food is amazing and so well priced. The team working there are so kind, happy and accomodating. The place is cozy with limited seating. We came as a party of five which we knew may be tricky. They were so nice and didn’t seem put out and made room for us all. The team were so busy but seemed so passionate and happy in their work making the atmosphere fun and welcoming. They even gave my son a wee toy. Such a great place Can’t rate them highly enough

I visited on a Sunday for lunch. They open at 11.30 and I came at 11.20, thinking I'm clever for being early. Nope. There was already a long queue in front of me. As always, I learn my lessons the hard way. While we wait, the staff distributed the menu and took our order. I got in at 12.30 and my order (their most recommended menu, the pork-mix okonomiyaki) was already served on my table. I apprectiate the efficiency. It was a little different from all the the okonomiyaki I've known before, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless. The sauce was on the sweeter side, and there were pineapple chunks in the batter that actually works together with the rest of the ingredients. Portion size was quite big and they were generous with the pork and seafood toppings, but I was able to finish everything. I especially like the crispy, almost-burnt edges to the point that I'm grateful that I came alone, I could've ended friendships fighting for it. The grill aroma lingers on hair and clothes long after the meal, so you might want to consider visiting at the end of day instead. I don't mind the souvenir, although at the risk of accidentally making some commuters on the metro train hungry simply by standing next to me. Key takeaway: I guess when you're exceptionally prodigious at work, people will let you do whatever you want. Including re-engineering an okonomiyaki.

Best Okonomiyaki my family and I have had in Japan! I got the Seafood with Fried Noodles, my brother and my dad got the Pork-Mix with Fried Noodles, and my mom got the Pork. They were all phenomenal. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Osaka. We got there right after they opened and a lien formed behind us. Definitely get there early. You won’t be disappointed.

The best OKONOMIYAKI I’ve ever had. It was so filling and overwhelming because the portions are huge. If you plan to come here when you are already full, you might not be able to finish everything. The place can get a bit hot because of the cooking station, but we were very happy with our experience here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Worth coming back.

ordered their squid and pork mix, seafood mix. okonomiyaki was nicely charred with crispy edges with no bitter burnt parts. seafood were large and fresh, well cooked too. we added noodles to make the meal more filling. portions were large and well worth the price paid. the other reviews weren't kidding about the queues, we waited for an hour or so. but once you tasted the food, it'll all make sense. will make a planned stop for future travels.

Probably my favorite thing I ate on our Japan trip, and we ate a wide variety of food in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. I got the seafood okonomiyaki (shrimp, scallop, squid, and oyster), and it was phenomenal. Maria also loved her shrimp, squid, and pork okonomiyaki. The restaurant is small, but we didn’t have to wait in much of a line when we went at 1:30pm on a Tuesday (about ten minutes before we were invited in to eat). We sat at the counter and had the pancake right off the grill. The guy who runs the shop was very kind as well. Highly, highly recommend!

Went there on a hot summer weekend evening expecting a queue but the queue was shorter than we anticipated (yay!) Located slightly away from the main areas like dotonbori, etc. The store itself is nothing fancy, just a down to earth little store serving up good food. If you get the counter seats you get to see the cooking live. They take your order in advance so your food gets served quickly after you’re seated. The okonomiyaki was delicious with a unique touch of pineapples - the seafood used were very fresh and sweet, cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our meal here.

Came around 11, which was half an hour before opening, first in line. At 1130, there's about 6 party waiting, the restaurant sits 12 so about 3-4 parties per wave. It is mandated for each customer to order one main dish. I had the pork mix modanyaki which is basically okonomiyaki but with fried noodles. I highly recommend trying this rendition of okonomiyaki, it fills the stomach well. The pork mix consisted of pork slices, squid, and sizeable prawn which had great texture. This place serves my favourite okonomiyaki, in my experience. Patrons are mixed with locals and foreigners. I have been eating here each time I visit Osaka. A middle aged male cook also speaks fluent French. When we left the queue was equally long. I recommend heading down 20mins before opening.
